Small Press Expo This Weekend!

My favorite comic convention, SPX in Bethesda, MD, is coming up. The special theme this year is "Outside Looking In: Alternative Political Cartooning in 2008." I'll be on a panel Sunday at 2:30pm, along with Ruben Bolling, Keith Knight, and Mikhaela Reid, about drawing the election; moderator is Marc Singer. Tom Tomorrow, who has a brand-new book out called The Future's So Bright, I Can't Bear to Look, will be there on Saturday. Lots and lots of great non-political types will be on hand too, like Dutch cartoonist Joost Swarte.
